Many moons ago... (3 years, give or take)... I took this snap of Graeme.... Was gonna delete it but then I thought, why not share it with the rest of the world? So here it is... :)

Caught him a bit by surprise!

Today, Esther and Keziah both competed in the Braeside Primary School 'Cross Country' event.
I am VERY proud to announce that they each won their age group races.
First up, Keziah lined up with about 12 others. From the word "go", Keziah and Bianca (?) hit the front. By the 500m mark, Kez had opened up a small lead. She even found a few seconds to wave to Dad. (I was marshalling)
After taking the corner a little wide, Kez slipped back into 2nd, but never let her competitor get away from her. With Dad shouting words of encouragement, Kez and Bianca traded places all the way to the finish, with Kez putting in a huge effort with 50m to go to take the win by just a few seconds.
Well done Kez. We are SO proud of you.

Boy! Talk about putting the pressure on!
OK, after that last "Quote" which does sound like something I might say (in jest of course Damon), but was added to this site by my good mate Pete, I feel that I must now start a blog of my own, and tell it like it really is. So here I go..................
I went out and did a 5km run with Damo this evening.... He ran reasonably well but I managed to pull away eventually. It's good to have mates to run with. It inspires me to try harder. 22min 30sec over 5 k's for me.

So hows that?
